| Monthly and annual precipitation and lake evaporation rates are provided at this site
for each one-degree quadrangle in and adjacent to Texas. Precipitation data are available from 1940 through 2010 while gross lake surface evaporation data are available from 1954 through 2010. These quadrangle data were
computed from all available raw data collected by the National
Weather Service and by the Texas Water Development Board. More information
on the computing program is provided here.
